Mallory was born and raised in Portland, Oregon, and began her career as a Speech Language Pathologist in 2020.
Mallory's expertise spans both the adult and pediatric populations, including AAC users, stroke and traumatic brain injury survivors, and individuals with dementia and Parkinson's Disease.
Mallory has been immersed in the world of early intervention, making a significant impact on the lives of young children and their families. She brings a unique perspective to her work, as she is trained as a Learn Play Thrive therapist. Mallory's approach is rooted in strengths-based methods, allowing her to connect with and empower autistic children in neuroaffirming ways. Her dedication to understanding and supporting the unique needs of these children sets her apart.
Mallory thrives on collaborating with families, equipping them with the tools, knowledge, and encouragement to help their children reach their language and developmental goals. Her warm and nurturing approach is at the heart of her practice, ensuring that each child and family she works with feels supported and inspired.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Ian, and their daughter, Thea. She loves reading, cooking, cheering on her favorite sports teams, and baking.
Areas of Specialty
Mallory excels in early intervention and is trained as a Learn Play Thrive pediatric speech therapist, using a strengths-based approach and neuroaffirming techniques to support autistic children's language development. She collaborates with families, providing tools and guidance to help children reach their language and developmental goals.
Additionally, Mallory's experience working with adult and pediatric AAC users, stroke and traumatic brain injury survivors, and adults with dementia and Parkinson’s Disease make her an invaluable asset to the Sonos Neurotherapies team.
