Amanda received her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Ithaca College in beautiful upstate New York.
Amanda has had the opportunity to support children and families across a variety of settings, including public and private schools, outpatient rehabilitation, acute care pediatric hospital settings, and through home/community-based early intervention. She is passionate about implementing a family centered approach to intervention to empower caregivers to optimize communication development within the child’s natural environment.
Amanda was born and raised in New York. After several years in steamy Dallas-Fort Worth, Amanda never misses the chance to get outdoors and explore beautiful Central Oregon. She, her husband Tim, and children Ryann and Grey spend their days hiking, kayaking, and exploring the PNW with their sweet German Shepherd, Lucy.
Areas of Specialty
Amanda specializes in serving children with pediatric feeding disorders (including myofunctional disorders), childhood apraxia of speech (CAS), speech sound/phonological disorders, disorders related to cleft lip and palate, stuttering impairments and early language delays and disorders.
